The Cook N Home 11 quart stainless steel fruit juicer steamer multiport, 28cm is made with stainless steel with an aluminum layered base. Aluminum disc layered in the bottom allows for even/quick heat distribution and prevents hot spots. 11 quart Capacity to juice or steam large amounts of fruits and vegetables. Side loop handles on each level for safe carrying. Lid fits securely to keep in heat and moisture. Includes: water/cooking pan, juice pan, strainer/steamer pan, lid, and hose with clamp. Item can be used separately as a stockpot and steamer. Induction compatible and works on gas, electric, glass, halogen, ceramic, etc. Hand wash recommended. Measures 12. 5 by 12. 5 by 14. 5 inches, 8. 5 pounds. To use: add fresh fruit in top level, fill bottom level with water, and boil on stovetop. Steam will extract juice that drips into the center level and can be collected with the tube. Juice can be drunk fresh or used for jelly, syrup, etc. Product can also be used as a regular steamer by removing center level and tube. Dishwasher Safe.

I was offered some free concord grapes, so I thought I would research steam juicers. I read lots of reviews, and settled on this one because of the reviews and the price. I ordered it on a Tuesday, picked grapes the following day, then went home and waited for my steam juicer to arrive that same day. It came, I unpacked it, filled it with my washed grapes, then did other things for the next hour while my grapes steamed. After that hour, I used the attached hose to pour the juice into mason jars. I've never seen anything so easy!! It was awesome watching that beautiful purple juice come streaming out of that juicer. It filled the jars so quickly, and the clamp on the hose cut off the flow of juice immediately (These were areas of concern for some other juicers that I read about). I ended up with 5qts of grade juice, for very little effort. Clean up was so easy, too. The juicer washed up beautifully. I'm very satisfied with my purchase. I do think that more expensive models might have more heavy duty parts. For example, the lid is very lightweight and the screws attaching the handle to the lid make me question their longevity. Everything else seems pretty solid and durable, so I'm not too worried about what might happen down the road with juicer.
