This is the second time I have ordered this 14 gauge baking sheet, and the second time I have received a 16 gauge baking sheet. The first one was also dented when delivered. The second one doesn't have any dents, but it is not the more rigid 14 gauge pan as it is described. Buyer beware!I only just received them, but so far am impressed with the pans. They noticeably feel like higher quality pans than anything else I have. BUT.As other reviewers have noted, the adhesive from the stickers truly will not come off. This is an annoyance for any other product; it is simply unacceptable on food-contact products. We should not have to worry about what nasty smells, flavors or chemical contamination a burning industrial grade adhesive will impart to our food when we put these into the oven.I picked, scraped (with plastic stoneware scraper), soaked, scrubbed, applied Goo Gone for five minutes, scraped some more, applied Goo Gone for an hour, scraped some more. No effect. Then I applied Goo Gone and allowed them to sit overnight. Then I scraped and scratched some more. Finally, *MOST* of the stickers came off.I'm still reluctant to use them because of the residue. I find it impossible to believe the manufacturer can't fix this problem.I had a pan that I thought was an actual half sheet pan however my Silpat did not fit in the pan. The edges sort of went up the side of the pan a little bit so I hardly even used it. I only had one pan so then I decided to buy a couple of these pans after seeing a chef on YouTube (Chef John from Foodwishes.com) with perfect looking half sheet pans. I could totally marry these sheet pans I love them so much! I wash them by hand though because I read that they will get discolored if washed in the dishwasher. I could take off a star for having/choosing to hand wash these pans but no, they are one of my most favorite kitchen items. I still see these pans every day and they make me super happy. yay!I am writing this review almost 2 years after my initial purchase of this half sheet pan, and have 4 in my kitchen arsenal. I have purchased silicon baking mats for use with the pans when baking and have great results every time. I also use them under casseroles and the like to prevent spillage into the oven. Could not be happier with theses. These also require minimum care - cleaning with hot water and detergent is all that is needed to keep them looking like new.I have also purchased these pans as a gift for a die-hard holiday cookie baker and she is thrilled with the results that she receives using these pans. They heat evenly, and she also uses silicon mats to insure non-stick results. Best of all I get lots of great holiday cookies as a Thank You for giving her the half sheets. BONUS!!!!These are really great heavy duty but still lightweight pans. I use them for everything. I always use a silpat mat so I don't have to clean them much but they are really durable and no warping in the oven at all. Highly recommend.I cook a lot, and I really use the heck out of my pans. Since all of my pans were worn and warped, I decided it was time to replace them. I decided to take a chance on these because they said they are heavy duty and reinforced. They are a little pricey, and I was a bit skeptical about trying them. However, after several weeks of hard use, in and out of a 450 degree oven, the pans still look as good and FLAT as they did the day they were delivered. This gets an easy and well deserved 5 stars from this happy cook.Heavy gauge, bright and shiny. ;) I use these sheets all the time. I wrap ribs in foil, cook for 3 hours at 250-degrees on them. Brown potatoes on them in a 500-degree oven. Grill veggies on them. And I'm forever buying new sheets. They just won't hold up. I have absolutely no doubt this one will. It's heavier than what you normally find. And being aluminum? They're going to be much easier to clean than what I've bought in the past. Should have bought these a long time ago.You won't be disappointed.Oh! I forgot. Some people commented on the sticker being hard to get off. ??? I don't know, maybe they changed it. But I washed the pan, used a Scotchbrite on it, and it came right off. No problem. These are great all around sheet pans. It is a true half-sheet size and the half sheet Silpat fits perfectly (DeMarle 2409 Silpat 11-5/8-by-16-1/2-Inch Nonstick Silicone Baking Mat). Amazon's product dimensions are a bit off as the pan has slightly tapered edges and the external measurements are 17 7/8 inches by 12 7/8 inches but the interior measurement is 16 3/4 inches long by 11 3/4 inches wide wide and 1 inch deep. The pan weights in at 1 pound 15.5 oz (~890 grams) and is very sturdy. In addition the wire rims inside the rolled aluminum edge add a lot of support and make it easy to remove from the oven. I have bought a number of these pans (8) and another reviewer who commented about the UPC sticker being hard to remove has a point but it is on the bottom and if you remove it prior to washing or using its really not that hard.
