Great way to store lids neatly and off to side. Doesn’t hold a ton, but still great for organizing.Good construction and design. Possibly could be improved by making it expandable for more lids or wider/deeper pot lids. This item was easy to install, but I don’t find the plastic to be very sturdy. It’s an okay item that will help you organize, but I was a little disappointed in the material. Bottom line: It gets the job done.So I have had one of these for years and years (maybe 8?) and have always loved it. I even brought it along with me when I moved houses in the summer of 2018. Works great, smooth sliding, separates the lids well, easy to clean, takes up little space. I love how I don’t have to reach into the cabinet to find a lid. Recently I decided to reorganize and needed one for my Pyrex lids. I was so happy to find the exact same thing! The only thing different is that my old one had yellowed a bit compared with the nice new white one. These are very easy to install as well.It does what it is suppose to do- holds pan lids and allows you to make the cabinet look more organized. The one major complaint with it was the screws. They were very tiny, but not in a good way. They where not short, but long and thin and not the kind that are able to anchor themselves without pre-drilling the hole. The head of the screw also made the installation a headache, not impossible, just more of a headache. My suggestion would be to find a few screws you have laying around the house. The placing the drawer portion onto the base was easy. The first time pulling the movable portion forward it took a bit of pulling to get it to go (yes, I feared the breaking of plastic would be heard at one point) but it eventually did more forward and moves fine now. Would I buy it again? Yes, I would with the understanding that I will just use a pair of screws I already have. (The screws are taped to the bottom that comes with it). I think it will allow the cabinet with the cookware to remain much more enjoyable to get something out of. It is plastic but for the price point it is worth it.I ordered two of these to organize my pan lids. The one arrived with two of the four "tabs" already broken. The plastic is cheap and flimsy and isn't very well made. It's a relatively simple design. Two screws secure the long narrow base to the bottom of the cupboard. One of the screw heads popped off as I was screwing it in. Realizing the screws were so cheaply made, stripped immediately or broke apart, I used my own sturdier screws. The actual lid holder fits on the base, sort of snapping in, but more like sitting on the base and kind of clicking into place. The idea is to be able to slide the holder out to retrieve a lid when needed. Problem is that if you slide it back in all the way it locks into place and it won't slide back out unless you fiddle around with it, all the while hoping not to break the fragile plastic. I had a couple of round cork "feet" that I stuck to the back of the holder so that when I slid it back in the round stopper would hit the back of the cabinet before clicking in and becoming stuck. All in all, I was able to make it work, but don't know how long this product will last. Too bad somebody doesn't come up with a wood version of this. I gave it two stars because the concept is good, I was able to make it work, even though the quality is very poor and it's extremely overpriced for what you get. Literally this seems like something you'd find in the discount section of the Dollar Store.I had doubts buying this product but was pleasantly surprised when I installed it. We had lids all over the place and I felt like ever time i grabbed a pot or pan i had to move lids out of the way to get to them. This saves us so much room as well as being nice to slide out so you don’t have to reach to the back of the cabinet. Everything has its place now and no more moving lids to get to things. After I installed this my girlfriend commented how much she liked the new layout of our pots, pans and lids.Install was easy with only a coupke screws holding it in place. I think it took me a total of five minutes to install.I would recommend for anyoneDecent product for the priceDoes exactly as pictured. Perfect for lid storage in a narrow cupboard. Great for really big lids. It's a bit flimsy, but still does the trick. There is an option to screw it down, which might help that, but I'm not ready to commit to screwing something in my brand new cabinet. Very happy with my purchaseThis is EXTREMELY flimsy, but it's the right size and shape I needed for an awkward cupboard space. I wish it was $10 more and made of a sturdier plastic, but it does the job I need it for. If you keep your expectations reasonable, and you don't have a large enough space for a better quality sliding rack (which typically require 2-3 inches more minimum than this one), this is a useful solution. The only one we found.
